The Secret To Learning Calligraphy (and my free supply list)

About 5 years ago, I took my first calligraphy class.

Although I LOVED it, the truth is — I wasn’t very good at first!

But because I knew this was something special, I kept with it, and practiced… A LOT.

I took more classes, lessons, and read lots of books.

I started making things for family and friends (I’m sorry 🙈)

And eventually… after time, effort, the right tools in hand, and a lot of practice… I got better.

And that, my friends, is the secret, (which is actually no secret at all.)

Why am I sharing this?

Because I want you to know I didn’t get where I am today just because I took a 2-hour workshop on a whim…

I got here through many hours of practice, investments in myself and my business, and a commitment to getting better at something I loved.

Maybe you want to learn calligraphy for your wedding, or to start your own business from something that’s currently just a hobby…

I’m here to say, you can do it.

I truly believe anyone can learn calligraphy, if they’re willing to put in the effort and have proper guidance.

But that’s just the thing…

Many of us are willing, but it’s the proper guidance that can be hard to find.

That’s where I come in…

If you’ve been following along with my Instagram stories, I’ve been talking about my first online calligraphy course, which I’m getting ready to launch very soon!

And since the anticipation is killlllling me, I thought I’d share a little snapshot on what you can expect from the course:

-An in-depth lesson on the brush pen AND the dip pen

-Envelope addressing like a pro

-Creating place cards for events (even on the trickiest of surfaces)

-And so much more!

While most modern calligraphy courses only focus on the brush pen OR the dip pen, I’m including lessons on BOTH.

Why?

Because having knowledge of both will not only increase your skills as a calligrapher, but, if you’re pursuing calligraphy as a means of income, it means never having to turn down a client for lack of expertise.

Like I said before, I believe anyone can learn calligraphy — and I mean anyone.

And if you can learn calligraphy, and put in the time to develop your own style, you can make an income as a calligrapher, just like me.
